Conductivity Meter Instrument Information
An electronic device containing electrodes that is used for measuring the electrical conductivity of a solution. In a laboratory conductivity meter, these probes often contain four total electrodes and is submersed into the solution. An alternating current is then applied to the outer pair of electrodes and the potential between the inner pair is then measured.

Common Uses
Process control of a process containing a solution, often times to measure the concentration of an acid or amount of impurities.
