Viscometer Instrument Information
An instrument used to measure the viscosity of a fluid. While there are many different types of viscometers, there are two main principles of operation. Either a fluid remains stationary and an object moves through it, or vice versa. The drag that is caused is the measure of viscosity of the fluid.

Common Uses
- Testing the viscosity of fluids to be used in a system, such as motor oil, coolant, adhesives and beverages where too slow or too fast of flow would disrupt the system.
