ULM Instrument Information
A universal length measuring machine is a precision instrument used for accurately measuring the length of various components. In a typical setup, the workpiece is positioned between a fixed and movable measuring probe, with the movable probe precisely adjusted to make contact. A high-accuracy displacement sensor then records the distance traveled by the probe, providing an exact measurement of the workpiece’s length.
