Air Gages Instrument Information
A metallic gage with several air gage nozzles machined into the body, with an air supply and air gage readout attached to the back. When inserted into or onto a diameter, air is pushed through the supply chamber and out the nozzles. This air hits the walls of the machined hole and provides a back pressure to the air gage readout, which then displays the diameter of the part.

Common Uses
Very accurate measuring of diameters of machined parts, such as pipes, tubes and long holes.
