Bore Gages Instrument Information

A rod containing two or three points on one end and a measurement display device on the other (digital or dial micrometer). The rod is inserted into a machined diameter and the anvils are extended (commonly, by releasing a lever or rotating the micrometer head) to touch the diameter walls, providing a measurement reading on the display.
