Locations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure parts, components, and equipment comply with specifications and standard work instructions
- Operate and program dimensional inspection equipment, including CMM, vision systems, surface roughness tools, and related measuring devices
- Prepare accurate documentation, such as inspection reports, reverse engineering reports, calibration certificates
- Collaborate in a team environment while delivering tasks efficiently and with the highest quality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Critical thinking and customer-focused mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of metrology concepts
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly adapt to custom software platforms
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience; formal PMEL training is preferred
- 3+ years of experience programming CMMs and DCC Vision Systems (preferred)
- Proficient with Wenzel, Zeiss, Faro Arm, and Starrett systems and software (preferred)
- CAD proficiency and advanced knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading (preferred)
