Hard Gage Calibration Technician

Locations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Calibrate, test, and repair instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements including but not limited to: thread gages, plain rings and plugs, gage blocks, pin gages, length standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of calibration and repair activities.
- Collaborate in a team environment while delivering tasks efficiently and with the highest quality.
- Provide on-site support to local accounts with occasional overnight travel.
- Perform other duties as assigned and thrive in a fast-paced lab environment
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly adapt to custom software platforms
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to perform repetitious tasks with accuracy
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in calibrating test and measurement equipment is preferred.
- Experience using Supermicrometer, Laser Ruler, and/or Linear Measurement Machine is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
