Recruiting Specialist

Position Overview

At Fox Valley Metrology, we recognize that people are our most valuable resource. We’re looking for a highly skilled Recruiting Specialist to join our team and help us find the right people to grow our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, along with a deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful careers.

Locations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Human Resources and managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
  • Partner with Human Resources and senior managers using knowledge from multiple recruiting sources to design, refine, implement and execute innovative recruitment strategies
  • Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments hiring needs and job specifications
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external sources such as universities, high school and vocational schools – to proactively establish ongoing applicant resources
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles; helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates
  • Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates
  • Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, including social media
  • Screen resumes and manage candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation
  • Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for Human Resources
  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)
  • Experience in developing recruitment strategy
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state when required
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field
  • 2 or more years relevant experience in recruitment or Human Resources
