Fox Valley Metrology Customer Referral Program FAQs

Any company that you have a good relationship with would be an excellent source. Some examples would be:

• Other departments at your location*
• Other locations of your company*
• Sister companies to yours*
• Your suppliers**
• Industry colleagues
• Other companies nearby
• Former employers
• Friends & family

*Note:  If you are receiving excellent service from Fox Valley Metrology, it would be incredibly easy for you to convince other areas of your company to receive the same benefits.

**Note:  Your suppliers make a particularly excellent source of referrals. After all, if Fox Valley Metrology is helping you produce a higher quality product, wouldn’t you love to have your incoming materials be of the same quality?

Really, anyone within a company that could utilize our calibration service is an excellent start.

Although, your best bet is if you have a contact who is in a decision making role within the following departments of their organization:

• Quality Assurance
• Purchasing
• Production
• Management/Executives/C-Suite

Any company that utilizes test and measurement equipment within their processes would be a great source.

By no means are you limited to this list, but these are some industries to consider:

• The industry you are in
• The industry your suppliers are in
• Contract Manufacturing
• Automotive
• Aerospace
• Defense Products
• Electronic Devices
• Foundries
• Machinery
• Medical Devices
• Pharmaceuticals

If you have an account with Fox Valley Metrology and your company has done business with us in the past 12 months, you are eligible!

Any department or location of a company that has not been invoiced by Fox Valley Metrology for the past 18 months is eligible for a referral. Any contact at these companies are eligible, although contacts in a decision making capacity will provide you with a better chance of success.

The person being referred will be credited to the referrer on a first-come, first-serve basis. In other words, if an active opportunity already exists for this person, they will not be eligible for another referral.

If multiple people from the same company are referred at the same time, the opportunity that leads to a secured deal will be the one credited for the referral.

Great question! Oftentimes, we may be doing some work for the company, but not all the work available.

If after the referral, their account grows by over $1000 in calibration spend in the next 12 months, they will be eligible for this program.

The referred customer must begin calibration service with Fox Valley Metrology within 365 days of being referred.

Unfortunately, there is no way to retroactively link a referral to a new customer.

This is why its important to start spreading the word today!

The process is as simple as can be! Here is how you can get started:

1. Sign into Metrology360.
2. Navigate to the Referrals tab (if not automatically redirected after signing in).
3. Choose the referral option you would like to use:
   • Email
     • This will automatically send an email to the person you are referring with a pre-built message containing your personal referral link.
   • Link
     • This is your personal referral link. You can send this link via email or text to a friend, or even post to any social media site. Whatever you would like!
   • Social Media
     • This will automatically create a post on your social media account that shares your personal referral link. All people who click this link and eventually become a customer of Fox Valley Metrology will qualify for this program, assuming the referral meets all other criteria of this program.
4. Enjoy the rewards.

In order for your referrals to count as successful, the referred person will simply need to:

• Follow your referral link and complete registration
• Complete their first calibration service event with Fox Valley Metrology (either on-site or in-lab).
• That’s it!

Since you will be receiving a digital debit card, it is valid anywhere you could shop online.

The reward will be triggered to send after the completion of the referred customer’s first calibration service event. Referral rewards are typically processed immediately, but please allow up to 2 weeks.

Every future customer you refer to Fox Valley Metrology will net you a fresh $100 of cold, hard cash – right in your pocket.

The referred person will receive $25 of cash.
